Ferretti Yachts recently launched its 920 motoryacht in Cattolica, Italy. The 92-footer rounds out the builder’s 11 model fleet, ranging from 45 to 96 feet. The 920 fills a gap between the builder’s 870 and 960.
The yacht’s design comes from Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and engineering department working with Studio Zuccon International Project.
The sea awaited reverentially and eagerly as the new 92-footer by Ferretti Yachts entered the water with the calm might of a nautical giant.

The 920 was designed with a high freeboard forward, resulting in a seakindly hull form. An added benefit is the addition of a main-deck, almost full-beam master suite. Belowdecks, the yacht can be outfitted with three or four guest staterooms.
When it comes to enjoying the outdoors, the foredeck s set up with a sun pad as well as a dinette with two settees for al fresco meals on the hook. Other outdoor entertainment areas include the flybridge, equipped with chaise lounges, U-shaped settees, ottomans and a wet bar with stools; a cockpit dining table protected by the flybridge overhang; and a teak beach at the transom garage.
Three MTU engines options are offered on the Ferretti 920: twin 1,948 mhp, 2,217 mhp or 2,435 mhp diesels. Cruising speed should range from 23 knots to 26 knots, while the top-end should run from 26.5 knots to 30 knots.
Look for the 920 to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 12-17 and stateside at Yachts Miami Beach in February 2018.
