Custom Line has unveiled its biggest-ever Navetta: a 42 with a length overall of 137 feet, 2 inches.
The extra space allowed for a beach club that’s nearly 320 square feet, as well as a semi-floodable side garage for tender stowage.
Studio Zuccon International Project spent two years collaborating on the yacht with the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee headed by engineer Piero Ferrari, and with the group’s Engineering Department. Studio Luca Bombassei, an Italian architecture and design firm, worked on interior design.
The new flagship is Custom Line’s first above 300 gross tons. It includes long-range cruising features such as a bulbous bow and a floating floor on the main deck to reduce vibration and noise. Range is 3,000 nautical miles — making transatlantic crossings possible.
Cruising speed is reportedly 10 knots, with a top speed above 16 knots.
Heady stuff: Headroom in some guest areas is more than 6 feet, 6 inches.
