Feadship ROCK.IT
Feadship has launched the 197-foot ROCK.IT for an experienced owner who previously chartered Feadships. The outfitting includes what Feadship calls the first superyacht application of a naval-style control and maneuvering system.
Henk de Vries, director at Feadship, said it has been both terrifically fun as well as a roller-coaster ride working with the owner of ROCK.IT, who visited the yard multiple times with unconventional and “no-compromise” ideas.
“His between-your-eyes honesty and tremendous respect for and appreciation of Feadship craftsmanship pushed us to new heights,” de Vries said.
Design and naval architecture is by Sinot Yacht Design and Feadship. The interior includes dark woods and light stones blended to create classic-modern styling. A skylight in the sundeck’s canopy dims automatically depending on how sunny it is outside.
