Boscawen Inn
Good For: Maritime flavors and comfort food, breakfast and dinner.

Chefs Madonna Boland and Mary Ann Feeney are Nova Scotian natives and masters of maritime fare and comfort foods. Breakfast begins with morning coffee and tea service and decadent pastries served in the parlors or out on the deck. By 8:00am, the breakfast buffet begins, and you can enjoy it in the dining room or on the deck. If you’re still hungry, wait a bit for the daily hot entrée. Dinners may be arranged for groups of 12 or more and may include our famous Lobster Dinner or other Nova Scotia specialties.

We highly recommend an outing to Blue Rocks, The Ovens or one of the beautiful beaches nearby and gourmet picnic baskets can be ordered the night before to take on your day of travels.

And unlike many B&B’s and smaller inns, Boscawen Inn is fully licensed, so you can enjoy a local Ironworks Distillery vodka martini on the deck or a Nova Scotia wine or beer.

The Dockside Inn & Restaurant
The grand old building was erected in 1901. It was originally the home of W.C. Smith and Co. — the fishing enterprise that evolved into National Sea Products Ltd. Old Town Restaurant pays tribute to many of the icons of Lunenburg’s rich heritage, including the replica of the HMS Bounty built in Lunenburg, the schooner Bluenose, and the era of the railroad. Dining in history is further complimented by an extensive menu of seafood dishes and original recipes prepared in the homemade tradition. _

Fleur de Sel
Our restaurant offers a variety of dishes, based on traditional French cuisine, which highlight local ingredients from award wining chef Martin Ruiz Salvador. Fleur de Sel is a fine gourmet salt raked and harvested by hand along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts of France and Spain. Renowned for exceptional flavor, these crystals are sprinkled over foods just before serving for the perfect accent to your culinary experience.
