It’s not every day that you see a brand-new Numarine delivered right into the charter market, but that’s what just happened with the 122-foot Oculus.

Oculus is a Numarine 37XP, part of the shipyard’s range that extends from the 22XP to the 45XP. It’s the third-largest model that the Turkish builder offers.

This hull of the 37XP, which made its official debut at the recent Monaco Yacht Show, is being advertised for charter bookings through IYC this winter in the Caribbean and Bahamas, as well as bookings during summer 2025 in the East and West Mediterranean.

Oculus has interiors by Hot Lab, with a modern color palette that’s heavy on shades of white and gray, and that allows the views through the oversized windows to serve as the decorative “artwork” all around. There’s an emphasis on comfort as well as contemporary flair, with plush carpeting, darker soles and deep, low-profile furniture.

Accommodations are for 12 guests in six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite that also has expansive views. Guest relaxation areas include a decorative indoor bar with backlighting and striking stonework, as well as an oversized hot tub on the sundeck. Down at water level, the beach club has a sauna and gymnasium.

For charter guests who prefer to get their exercise through water sports, Oculus charters with a Sea-Doo RXP 325, a pair of Sea-Doo Spark 3ups, a trio of Seabobs, a pair of Fliteboards, an inflatable slide, standup paddleboards, towable toys and kneeboards, and snorkeling gear.

For heading ashore in style to shop or take in the sights, there’s an Axopar 37 T-Top chase boat. Oculus also charters with a Northstar RIB special edition that’s outfitted with head-turning black-and-orange seats.

According to the charter team at IYC, Oculus has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 8 knots, which means that just about any charter itinerary clients desire can be organized, including to far-reaching destinations. The yacht’s top speed is 18.5 knots for times when there’s a need to move fast.

What’s the lowest weekly base rate to charter Oculus this winter in the Caribbean? It’s $180,000. The high-season rate this winter is $210,000. Those rates are advertised with seven crew on board.
