Princess 68 forward salon
Princess Yachts is putting the final touches on a 68-foot model that is scheduled to premiere this September at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
The P68 will be a midrange choice in the Motor Yacht line, which already includes 64- and 72-foot models. The builder says the P68 will have the highest level of internal volume ever created by Princess for a given length, putting her features on par with those of a 75-footer.
Standard interior layout will include a master cabin with a private staircase and lobby, three more guest cabins (two of which are en suite), twin cockpits and a galley aft layout on the main deck. The galley’s countertop serves double-duty as a cockpit serving bar, thanks to an electric window that drops down. At the transom is an aft-facing twin seat for views beyond the swim platform and out over the water. More guest seating is forward, at the bow, where a walk-through foredeck also leads to a large sunpad and stowage. Up top, the flybridge has a wet bar plus seating that converts to a sunpad.
Top speed is expected to be 32 to 34 knots, with a cruising speed in the mid-20-knot range.
