Grand Banks 44 Eastbay
Grand Banks has started construction on a 44 Eastbay, which will premiere at the fall 2015 boat shows in the United States. She’ll be the new entry-level model in the Eastbay line.
The 44 Eastbay will offer owners a choice of a standard two-cabin or optional three-cabin layout. In the two-cabin version, the additional space is used as a utility room. In both versions, the main salon has electric drop-down windows, a straight galley to starboard and U-shaped dining to port.
Power will be a pair of 435-mhp Volvo Penta IPS 600 diesel engines. Top speed is expected to be better than 32 knots with a cruising speed of 28 knots.
Look for Hull No. 1, a salon express, at the Newport International Boat Show in September. Grand Banks will have information available about the flybridge version as well.
