The Cabo 41 will be the first model introduced since Hatteras Yachts announced last summer that it was relaunching the Cabo sportfishing brand.
Plans are in place to show the Cabo 41 at three upcoming boat shows: the Progressive Atlanta Boat Show in January, the Miami Yacht Show in February and the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March.
Cabo was founded in 1991 and built offshore fishing boats from 36 to 52 feet length overall. In 2010, Cabo moved production from California to the Hatteras Yachts facility in North Carolina, and in 2013, production of Cabo models stopped.
“Even though Cabo boats have not been produced for a few years, consumer research shows a continued strong affinity for the brand,” Hatteras/Cabo Yachts President and CEO Kelly Grindle stated in a press release. “Cabo will provide a step up from a center console to a boat that offers greater comfort and amenities while owners pursue their passion for angling offshore.”
Power options: The Cabo 41 is being offered with standard twin 626 hp Volvo D11s, or optional 670 hp or 725 hp Volvos, or Cummins QSM11s.
