The Westport Yachts 164, which was introduced in 2006, was previously the builder’s flagship motoryacht, only recently replaced by its new 172. Worth Avenue Yachts currently has a 2010 Westport 164, Gigi, listed for $28.5 million. With a six-stateroom layout designed to accommodate up to 12 guests and a dedicated crew of up to 12, Gigi boasts serious charter potential for owners looking to offset expenses.

“Cruise in style aboard the 164-foot motoryacht Gigi, crafted by Westport Yachts with exterior design by Donald Starkey and interior design by Glade Johnson,” says Worth Avenue Yachts.

While most yachts in the size range of the 164 have been built with steel or aluminum hulls, Westport leaned on its tradition of fiberglass builds.

“Through the early 1990s, some shipyards claimed it wasn’t possible to build a reliable all-fiberglass superyacht exceeding 150 feet,” Yachting previously reported. “And yet another bias: Builders asserted that buyers in this size range only wanted fully custom yachts.”

“Westport, and the market, proved otherwise. The Westport 164 launched as the largest series-built superyacht worldwide… The 164, however, is still the world’s largest all-fiberglass series yacht.”

Gigi recently completed a refit in early 2024 which saw the teak decks replaced, a new HVAC system installed, new overhead liner and soft goods replaced throughout. Features like an elevator that serves all decks on the tri-deck motoryacht enhance the onboard cruising experience, providing convenient access for guests throughout.

Accommodations onboard Gigi include an on deck master suite, a bridge deck VIP stateroom and four well-appointed guest cabins belowdecks. Two of the four guest cabins have king berths with a third having twin berths that can convert to a king berth.

This 164 comes equipped with twin 3,650 hp MTU 16V4000 diesels which give it a reported 22-knot top hop and a cruise speed of 18 knots. It’s worth noting that the 65 kW Northern Lights generator has 15,050 hours on it, however, it had the top end rebuilt at 14,000 hours in 2021. There are two 99 kW Northern Lights Generators that have 18,700 hours on them but had the top and bottom rebuilt at 16,000 hours.

Where is Gigi located? The yacht is currently lying in West Palm Beach, Florida.
