Vicem currently offers five different lines for owners to choose from including its Classic series which stretches from 46 feet to 82 feet length overall. When the Turkish builder launched Holly Ann, a 2010 Vicem 64 Classic currently listed with Allied Marine for $990,000, the yacht was considered a 58 Classic; however, Vicem reclassified its builds based on LOA.
“Holly Ann is a beautiful, well maintained, classic Downeast. The yacht has been owned and cared for with an open checkbook,” says Allied Marine. “Holly Ann should be on the top of your list for anyone looking for a timeless classic.”
Vicem uses a cold molded construction process that utilizes wood and gives its builds an advantage in comfort, noise reduction and sound insulation.
“Recognizing wood’s superior qualities and honoring the tradition of woodworking craftsmanship in Turkey, Vicem proudly continues to utilize traditional boat building methods but with a contemporary twist,” says Vicem Yachts. “All the Vicem Vintage Line yachts are built with the cold molded process. This operation involves applying layers of thin solid-wood veneers, oriented at different angles, to be saturated by epoxy over a computer-designed mold. This marriage of engineered woods with formulated resins yields a hull that is lighter, stronger and more durable than traditionally built fiberglass boats.”
The high-gloss cabinetry and joinery throughout combined with the Bensenzoni high-gloss mahogany hi-low table in the salon create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Two inboard-facing sofas flanking the salon complete the seating. Holly Ann has the galley down layout which has it amidships to port. The galley has a number of meal-prep appliances, including:
- Two Isotherm refrigerators
- Isotherm freezer
- Bosch 4-burner cooktop
- Gaggenau oven
- GE microwave oven
- Stainless steel sink
- Fisher Paykel dishwasher
Luxury amenities like the mahogany wood floors extend to the staterooms belowdecks. The forepeak stateroom on this 64 is the master which has a centerline queen berth and an en suite head. Both the VIP and the guest staterooms are abaft the master to port and starboard respectively.
The cockpit on the 64 Classic is the only true outdoor entertainment area, and it doesn’t disappoint. Two L-shaped settees that wrap around almost half of the cockpit pair with a high-gloss mahogany Benzenzoni high-low table to create a multifunctional space that caters to both dining and lounging.
Twin 900 hp MAN diesels will reportedly push Holly Ann to a 27-knot top hop and a cruise speed of 23 knots. It’s worth noting these engines have 1,350 hours on them.
Some other features on board Holly Ann include:
- Onan 21.5KW generator
