IYC is advertising the 150-foot Trinity True Love for sale. The all-aluminum motoryacht is a 2003 build that had what IYC calls a “comprehensive refit” in 2023, and is being offered at an asking price of $14.6 million through sales consultant Scott Jones in the Monaco office.
According to various reports, True Love is one among six of the 150-footers in the same series that Trinity Yachts turned out of its yard in New Orleans. This vessel is also among dozens of yachts created under the Trinity logo over the years, until new ownership took over and then shut down the shipyard in 2017. The yard’s history dates back to 1988, when it was founded by John Dane in partnership with Billy Smith and Felix Sabates. Trinity was, at one point, one of the most prestigious yacht builders in the United States.
More recently, True Love’s refit work included the installation of new generators and teak decks; engine rebuilds in the machinery space, and updates to the electronics at the helm. Out of sight are new piping and water heaters, adding to guest comfort and systems reliability.
Also according to IYC, True Love has a maximum speed of 22 knots. Cruise speed is 13 knots, with range being 4,000 nautical miles.
Accommodations are for as many as 11 guests in five staterooms. The master spans the full 28-foot beam forward. There are quarters for 10 crew.
Interior décor is by Claudette Bonville. Furnishings lean toward neutrals and whites, offsetting the rich cherry woodwork in the paneling and built-ins. True Love has gold-hued tray ceilings—a hallmark design element of yachts that came out of the Trinity shipyard—with golden pillows and accent pieces to match.
Up on the sundeck, guests have access to a wet bar, oversized barbecue, day head, hot tub and sun pads. Sun loungers are also here, along with a treadmill and a 55-inch flat-screen television.
On the aft deck, there are custom-designed dining tables that can convert into one or two daybeds. This means the aft-deck layout has four possible configurations, depending on whether guests feel like doing more lounging or enjoying more dining. A 55-inch flat-screen television is in this part of the yacht, too.
The asking price for True Love includes watertoys such as a pair of Yamaha Jet Skis and an 18-foot tender. It also includes a waterslide.
Where is True Love available for tours? The yacht is lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
