The 2002 Sunseeker 64 Manhattan Lady Sadie has three staterooms, a crew quarters, and yet is easily handled by an experienced owner-operator. Lady Sadie is on the market for $500,000.
Lady Sadie is powered by twin 800 hp MAN D2848 diesel engines, which reportedly produce a top speed of 30 knots. Fuel economy and range will increase when dialed back to a 25-knot cruise speed.
Primary access to the flybridge is via a set of stairs in the cockpit, but there is a second set of stairs at the main-deck helm. Lady Sadie’s flybridge is open, but a new Bimini top gives owners and guests the choice of sun or shade. Guests can relax on a 270-degree settee with table on the aft deck or join the captain on a bench-style lounge to port across from the helm. Grab a beverage from the wet bar and enjoy the ocean breeze while preparing a few burgers on the grill. Some of the navigation gear includes the following:
- New black dash with flush-mount electronics
- New electronics
- Dual Garmin 8616 displays at lower helm
- Gamin 8616 and 943 displays on flybridge
- Garmin autopilot
- Garmin xHD radar
- Garmin GMS10 network expander
- Garmin GXM54 antenna
- Garmin AIS800 AIS module
- Fusion RA770 head unit
- Bow thruster with Dockmate Control Engine interface
- Fusion remote
- Bow thruster remote
Lady Sadie’s cockpit has a synthetic teak sole and guests can relax on an aft bench-style seat with table and chairs, catch some rays on the swim platform or walk up to the foredeck lounge to get away from the crowd. The cockpit ice maker is a plus, but just through the sliding glass doors is the galley aft and the salon. Open the sliding glass door to create an open-air environment from the cockpit to the helm forward.
Lady Sadie’s salon has nearly 360 degrees of glass that allow natural light to flood the interior and create panoramic views from all points. Relax on the leather sofa to port while catching a game on the fold-down TV. Forward and up a few steps from the salon is the C-shaped dinette to starboard with adjacent sofa and the helm station. The galley aft is to starboard, which is my favorite type of galley setup. Owners are able to prepare meals and easily entertain guests in the salon, dinette, cockpit and flybridge. Galley amenities include the following:
- Custom countertops
- Four-burner cooktop
- Custom gold sinks and faucet
- High-gloss wood finishes
- Fridge/freezer
- Ice maker
- Microwave
After a long day on the water, owners and guests can retire to one of three staterooms. The master stateroom is full-beam with an en suite head and a king-sized berth. Forward is the VIP stateroom with V-berth and en suite head. The third guest stateroom is abaft the VIP and to port with three twin-sized over/under berths with a shared head. Crew quarters are available and could also be used for extra stowage, or possibly the perfect berth for the teenage boys.
HMY Yacht Sales stated, “The Manhattan 64 is one of the most popular Sunseeker yachts ever produced. With her triple salon windows and a sculpted form, the 64 is a study in modern yacht design when she was introduced in 2001. Built on a deep-V hull with a wide beam and propeller tunnels, her three-stateroom interior is notable in that the galley is aft in the salon rather than forward—an exceedingly practical design that makes the galley much more accessible from the cockpit”.
Where is Lady Sadie located? The yacht is currently lying in Charleston, South Carolina.
