Downtime, a Sea Ray L650 Fly, is listed for sale with MarineMax and has an asking price of $1.4 million. The 2015 build has cruising accommodations for eight guests with a four-stateroom, three-head layout.
Downtime’s cockpit has a three-person bench seat and fixed table aft. Add loose chairs and there is shaded alfresco dining for up to eight people. Forward and to starboard is a wet bar, while stairs to port lead to the flybridge.
The flybridge has a U-shaped sofa and fixed table aft. There’s additional bench seating forward to starboard with another fixed table. All the way forward is a three-person sun pad with back rests flanking each side. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed in multiple locations on Downtime’s flybridge and a retractable soft top can be left closed for shade or opened for a sun-bathed happy hour.
Sliding glass doors lead from Downtime’s cockpit to the salon where there are several seating options–including an L-shaped settee and ottoman to starboard and a three-person sofa to port for cocktails and casual conversation.
Forward from the salon is an open-style country galley. To port, the galley has a wrap-around countertop, two fixed bar stools, a double sink, two drawer refrigerators and two drawer freezers, a wine refrigerator and an electric cooktop. Directly to starboard is the L-shaped dinette abaft the two-seat lower helm station.
Side decks with high rails make for safe passage between the cockpit and the foredeck. The foredeck has seating options too, with a sun pad forward with room for two to three people. Abaft the sun pad are two facing bench seats with room for five.
Belowdecks, owners and their guests will find four staterooms. The full-beam amidships master stateroom has a centerline queen berth and en suite head. The forepeak VIP stateroom also has a centerline queen berth and en suite head as well. The remaining two staterooms are aft of the VIP stateroom to port and starboard. Both have two single berths.
Power for Downtime is twin 1,150 hp Caterpillar C18 Acert diesels with 1,410 hours, which reportedly give the 65-footer a 30-knot top hop and a cruise speed of 24 to 25 knots.
Other notable features include: twin Seakeeper gyrostabilizers, a swim platform PWC stowage and a washer and dryer combo.

“Seeing the gleaming superstructure at the end of the beautifully lit dock, you steer a course for the pool deck, where live music accompanies you down to the yacht. Her strikingly handsome lines reaffirm the heritage of a company with a history of taking cues from European and American designers and blending them into appealing, must-have yachts — in this case, into a sleek and sophisticated look that will be easy on the eyes at the end of your own dock for years to come.
With an abundance of salon windows, as well as a layout that is a gracious fusion of textures, colors and contemporary lines, the interior impresses you immediately. The four-stateroom layout mirrors the care taken with creation of environments that are at once soothing and visually pleasing throughout the yacht.” – Yachting, January 2015
