The 2018 Princess Yachts Y75 Amarula Sun is listed with Galati Yacht Sales at $4.295 million. The four-stateroom flybridge yacht is dressed to impress, sporting chic lines and 36-knot speed.
If you had to describe Amarula Sun’s interior in one word it would probably be: open. A combination of windows, low-profile furniture and a lack of forward bulkheads give owners and their guests clear sightlines from the cockpit to the lower-helm station while increasing the yacht’s sense of volume. If privacy is desired, lower the salon’s electric Roman blinds. Satin-finish walnut throughout pairs nicely with the light, neutral-tone fabrics, creating a warm vibe.
A C-shaped settee to starboard and a sofa to port complete the lounge seating aft. There is a formal dining area to port and amidships, adjacent to the galley. The oval, glass dining table has seating for eight. The galley is to starboard with a U-shaped countertop and an array of appliances, including:
- Garbage disposal
- Perlick Wine Cooler
- Twin stainless-steel sinks
- Full-height refrigerator and freezer
- Miele four-burner cooktop
- Miele combination oven/microwave
- Miele dishwasher
- Ice maker
When a long day of enjoying water toys and cruising the Y75 comes to an end, head belowdecks to four well-appointed staterooms. The full-beam master stateroom is amidships with a king berth, a sofa to starboard, a private entrance and an en suite head. The forepeak VIP has a centerline queen berth and an en suite head. The port en suite guest stateroom has side-by-side berths while the starboard guest stateroom has a queen berth and access to the day head forward.
If you enjoy the outdoors, Amarula Sun has several alfresco entertainment zones. On the foredeck, a U-shaped settee is abaft an adjustable sun pad. There’s also a sun shade with carbon fiber poles available. In the cockpit, a U-shaped transom bench seat and fixed table sit under the flybridge overhang with dining space for six, just pull up a few chairs.
Taking the party up to the flybridge offers even more options, with three additional social spaces. The forward seating flanking the helm station includes an L-shaped settee to starboard and a bench seat to port. The captain can dial the rays up to10 in this forward area with the retractable sunroof. A U-shaped dinette with a teak folding table is amidships and to starboard, directly across from the flybridge wet bar and Kenyon electric grill. The after section of the flybridge is set up for tender stowage with a davit, however, with the tender deployed there’s plenty of space to set up loose furniture and relax. The tender is not included in the sale of Amarula Sun.
Power for this Princess Y75 is provided by twin low-hour (395) 1,800 hp MAN V12 1800 diesels, which give the 75-footer a 36-knot top hop and a 29-knot cruise speed.
