Gilman Yachts currently has Behike, a Pershing 62, listed for sale with an asking price of $1.75 million. This 2018 hardtop express cruiser is known for its combination of luxurious appointments and 45-knot speed.
“As for cruising, hold onto your hats. Like all Pershing yachts, the 62 goes like the ballistic missile that is her namesake,” Yachting previously reported. “Her standard pair of 1,550 hp MAN diesels mated to Arneson ASD 14 surface-piercing drives propelled the 62 to a 45-knot top end and a fast cruise of 36-plus knots, according to Pershing. At these speeds, those MANs would burn well over 100 gph, but hey, one has to put 3,100 horses to work occasionally, right?”
Openness defines the main deck of Behike with the rear bulkhead able to lower and disappear completely, creating an open plan with unobstructed sightlines from the transom to the helm forward. The after section of the cockpit is a three-person sun pad with an L-shaped settee and fixed table forward, backing up to the salon’s L-shaped settee and fixed table–creating two alfresco dining spaces, one entirely protected and one shaded. A flat-screen TV is tucked away in the starboard cabinet, abaft the two-seat helm station. The captain can dial up the interior sunlight to 10 with the electronically operated window shades and the hardtop sunroof.

It’s equipped with a Bosch four-burner glass cooktop, an Isotherm under-counter freezer compartment, an under-mount stainless-steel sink, a Bosch stainless-steel dishwasher, an Isotherm refrigerator/freezer behind lacquered door, stowage and a GE Microwave. To starboard, in place of a third stateroom, is a lounge area with a U-shaped sofa and coffee table. There is also day head access.
Ready to turn in for the night? Guests will find sleeping accommodations for four with the forward VIP stateroom and the amidships master. The master stateroom has a centerline queen berth and en suite head. The forepeak VIP has a catty-corner double berth and en suite head.
