The E in Ocean Alexander’s 70E stands for Evolution. An apt descriptor for the motoryacht Ocean Alexander launched in 2016 which was designed by Evan K. Marshall.
“But, lest you worry that Ocean Alexander has thrown the baby out with the bath water, this is still a classic OA in so many ways: solid construction, outstanding seakeeping abilities and thoughtful design,” Yachting previously wrote. “If your dad had an Ocean Alexander, he’ll still feel right at home.”
Alexander Marine USA currently has Uplist II, a 2020 OA 70E, listed just shy of $3 million. The 70-foot motoryacht was the 27th 70E hull launched and is a great option for owner operators or those looking to cruise with a small crew.

“Uplist II is a beautiful, one owner, Ocean Alexander 70e motor yacht,” says Alexander Marine Yacht Consultant Greg Wilkinson. “I sold this yacht new to the current owners and she has been maintained, with no expense spared, at our OA service center in Seattle every year since new.”
In the salon guests will find a light and bright atmosphere aided by the oak and stone color scheme, volume-enhancing windows and custom seating designed by Evan K. Marshall. The main-deck interior is split level with the galley amidships. Galley appliances include a wine cooler, a Fisher Paykal refrigerator, a Jenn-Air Microwave, a Jenn-Air induction cooktop, a Jenn-Air convection oven and a Bosch dishwasher.
Accommodations onboard Uplist II include four staterooms belowdecks that sleep up to eight people. The master stateroom has a king berth, a chaise lounge chair and vanity to port, two nightstands, cedar-lined stowage and an en suite head.

Power onboard Uplist II is provided by twin 1,000 hp Volvo IPS 1350 diesels which push the 70-footer to a reported 28-knot top speed. It’s worth noting the engines have just 539 hours on them.
Regarding exterior entertainment areas on board, guests will be able to enjoy alfresco dining on the main-deck aft, sunning on the foredeck’s sun pad and additional lounge seating on the flybridge.
Some other notable features on board Uplist II include:
