Horizon Power Catamarans’ PC52 features bluewater-capable cruising and home-size living spaces, thanks to its 22-foot beam. The builder currently has Magic, a 2018 Horizon PC52, listed for $1.725 million. The 52-foot powercat has a three-stateroom layout that sleeps up to six people and underwent a number of recent upgrades.
The builder says Magic is ready to cruise and available now: “[Magic is] the ideal island/bluewater cruiser. The three cabins and immense entertainment space create an extremely versatile layout that can be used to meet all your boating needs.”
Recent upgrades onboard Magic include new antifouling bottom paint, new cutlass bearings, a full engine and generator servicing, a new bow thruster, a new aft deck refrigerator and new house batteries.
Angelo Lavranos penned the PC52 while designer Leigh Ford handled interior styling. The maindeck interior has a salon lounge area and a maindeck galley. The galley has a four-burner electric cooktop, a GE oven and microwave, a Fischer Paykel dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer, a wine cooler, double sinks and stowage.
Twin 550 hp Cummins QSB 6.7 diesels give Magic a 400-nautical-mile range, an 18-knot fast cruise speed and a 22-knot top hop. It’s worth noting the engines currently have 740 hours on them.
Accommodations belowdecks include a master stateroom in the starboard hull and the VIP stateroom and guest cabin in the port hull, which are split by a shared head. The master and VIP staterooms have a queen berth while the guest cabin has side-by-side single berths.
