For those in the market for a sport-fisherman capable that can hit the tournament circuit, the Hatteras Yachts GT60 Something Fishy is listed with HMY Yacht Sales for $1.195 million. The 2005 enclosed-bridge convertible has a 440-plus-nautical-mile range and a three-stateroom layout.
“The tournament-ready battlewagon has been well received by serious fishing and boating enthusiasts alike around the world,” Yachting previously reported on the Hatteras GT60.
Power for the 60-footer is a pair of 1,550 hp Caterpillar C30 diesels that push Something Fishy to a 33-knot top hop. The GT60 reportedly burns 114 gallons per hour at a 29-knot cruise speed.
Stepping into Something Fishy’s dance-floor-size cockpit, angling amenities abound, including a Bluewater fighting chair with rocket launcher, a cockpit freezer, a freshwater sink/rigging station, tackle drawers, a transom fish box, a macerated in-deck fish box, a freshwater/saltwater rinse, Rupp triple-spreader outriggers and a livewell.
Inside, the salon guests have seating aft with an L-shaped sofa to port. A floating, spiral staircase is immediately to starboard, offering interior access to the enclosed bridge. The galley is forward and to port with two facing Corian countertops. The galley is equipped with a four-burner electric cooktop, a microwave/convection oven, refrigerator and freezer drawers and a stainless-steel sink with a disposal. Adjacent to the galley is a U-shaped dinette, making it a great spot to grab a quick bite with the crew before lines in.
The enclosed bridge has a wet bar, mini-refrigerator and an L-shaped sofa. The helm station has a single Stidd seat with a companion bench seat to starboard. Entertainment amenities include a fusion stereo, JL Audio speakers and a Samsung flat-screen TV.
Accommodations belowdecks include three staterooms, sleeping up to six people. The master stateroom is amidships with an athwartships queen berth and an en suite head. To starboard, the guest stateroom has over-under single berths and access to the day head forward. The forepeak VIP stateroom has a centerline queen berth and an en suite head.
