At first glance the Galeon 560 Skydeck looks like an express cruiser, however, if you take a closer look you’ll notice a low-profile flybridge with a smaller-than-normal footprint that Galeon calls a Skydeck.
“The Galeon 560 Skydeck is a surprise on several fronts. When it comes to functional, yet aesthetically pleasing design, she’s one of the cleverest yachts I’ve seen in years,” Yachting previously wrote. “She’s also one of the better-built craft I’ve recently come across.”
The 58-foot flybridge cruiser has a three-stateroom, two-head layout and 30-knot speed. Perfect Match III is a 2019 Galeon 560 Skydeck currently listed with Galati Yacht Sales for $1.15 million.
“[Perfect Match III] is extremely clean and meticulously well-cared for,” says Galati Yacht Sales. “She was built by Galeon and encompasses the sporty lines of a hardtop express cruiser, with the functionality of a flybridge all in one.”
When the flybridge isn’t in use, an electrically-controlled carbon-fiber cover can keep the Skydeck dry and clean. If guests are lounging on the L-shaped settee or the captain is at the upper helm station, a Bimini top can go up to shade the space.
The main deck interior on the 560 Skydeck is defined by excellent sightlines, comfortable seating and an entertainment-ready layout. The main-deck galley aft reinforces this notion and with the aft sliding glass doors open guests can see clear from the transom settee to the raked glass windshields over the lower helm station. The helm seat does convert to extra seating at the dinette while at anchor. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, a two-burner cooktop and a sink.
Newer models of the 560 Skydeck, like Perfect Match III, came with Twin 725 hp Volvo Penta D11 diesels which should push the 58-footer to a 30-knot top hop and a 25-knot cruise. It’s worth noting the engines currently have just 178 hours on them.
The 560 Skydeck can sleep up to six people and has its master stateroom amidships with an en suite head. In the bow, the forepeak VIP stateroom also has an en suite head while the guest cabin to starboard has side-by-side berths. The crew quarters are abaft the engine room.
Some other notable features on board Perfect Match III include:
- Bow and stern thrusters
- Raymarine autopilot
- Two Axium 12-inch chart plotters
- Yacht Controller
- Washer and dryer
Where is Perfect Match III located? The yacht is currently lying in Cape Coral, Florida.
