DT 78, a 2024 Azimut Yachts 78 Fly, with just 130 hours on its diesels, is ready for island-hopping and is on the market with MarineMax for $5.499 million.

“The Azimut 78 Fly is the builder’s first flybridge model with three Volvo Penta IPS propulsion units. The superstructure, flybridge, hardtop, and cockpit are built in carbon fiber, with the deck done in a hybrid glass and carbon-fiber construction. Azimut calls the combination Carbon-Tech,” Yachting previously reported.

DT 78’s triple 1,000 hp Volvo Penta IPS1350 diesel engines provide a top speed of 33 knots and a comfortable 25-knot cruise speed.

A prime spot for social gatherings and alfresco dining is the teak cockpit, which has a large dining table, C-shaped settee, and deck chairs. It’s also shaded by the flybridge overhang. A wet bar keeps refreshments within arm’s reach. There’s direct access to the swim platform, allowing guests to take a dip, catch some rays, or launch the water toys.

Looking for a little privacy? DT 78’s foredeck was designed with sunbathing and lounging in mind. Grab a friend, a beverage, and relax on the forward-facing settee with a fold-out table or improve your tan on one of the large sun pads. This is an ideal spot for taking in panoramic ocean views.

DT 78’s flybridge is partially shaded by a hardtop with a retractable sunroof. Some features include a dining table, a wet bar with grill and a refrigerator, along with lounges on the aft deck. The upper helm station is to port, and a sun pad adjacent to the helm offers a place for guests to keep the skipper company.

The salon has an open floor plan and is surrounded by nearly 360 degrees of floor-to-ceiling glass, helping increase the sense of volume and providing ocean vistas. The interior is notable for its light oak sole, lacquers, leathers, and light-tone fabrics. The seating arrangement consists of a mix of sofas and armchairs surrounding a coffee table. An entertainment system includes a retractable flat-screen TV and a premium sound system. The galley is forward and is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, induction cooktop, and convection oven, with room for a chef and some helpers to prepare meals.
