Launched in 2007, the Hampton Yachts 63 Pilothouse came off the same tooling as the builder’s 68-footer.
Notable features: Twin 850 hp Caterpillar C15s were standard, giving the yacht a 24-knot top hop. C18s were optional. Prop pockets provided a 4-foot-10-inch draft. A couple of models were built with enclosed sky lounges and country-style kitchens. All flybridges were climate-controlled.
Belowdecks: Three staterooms with an amidships master and two heads was the standard layout. Some models turned one of the staterooms into an office with pullman-style bunks.
Availability: At press time, I found three 2007 Hampton 63 Pilothouses on the brokerage market, ranging from $975,000 to $1.25 million.
