The Global Series by Cheoy Lee was created to offer yachts designed for long-range passages with more comprehensive options than previous offerings from the builder. The second launch in the series, the 103-foot My Way, is an excellent example of what Cheoy Lee set out to accomplish.
Frank Mulder designed this fiberglass, raised pilothouse yacht with an enclosed sky lounge, and Dee Robinson did the interior design. My Way‘s owners used Mulder’s and Robinson’s expertise as a platform for further customization.
For example, My Way has walkaround side decks instead of a wide-body hull. She has a four-stateroom layout with crew quarters in the boat’s after portion, allowing a private entrance to the master stateroom, with his and her heads.
An optional layout has two staterooms with island queens and a master connected by one passageway.
During sea trials in Hong Kong, My Way reached a top speed of 24 knots at half-load, according to the builder. She is powered by a pair of 1,800 bhp Detroit Diesel 16V2000s and has a fuel capacity of 7,000 gallons. Other features include a central hydraulic package for the bow thruster, Naiad stabilizers and a chilled-water air-conditioning system.
