Boston Whaler 420 Outrage rendering
Boston Whaler has announced plans for its biggest launch to date, a 420 Outrage being presented in model form at boat shows worldwide this autumn.
“It all began by asking, ‘How can we push beyond the limits of what’s possible in a center-console boat?’” Jeff Vaughn, vice president of sales, marketing and customer service, stated in a news release. “We’ve found our answer in the 420 Outrage. There is literally nothing else like it on the marketplace.”
The 420 Outrage is expected to have quadruple Mercury Verado engines, joystick piloting and helm electronics including a SmartCraft Vessel View display.
Boston Whaler’s announcement follows an expansion of the builder’s headquarters in Edgewater, Florida, which recently grew by 58,000 square feet. The 420 Outrage is among more than a dozen new models the company has introduced in the past three years.
