Bering Yachts in North Carolina has signed a contract for a Bering 106, which the builder is calling a “new generation model.”
Exterior styling is different from previous Bering builds, which generally have a more expedition-style look. The Bering 106 will, however, retain the builder’s go-far cruising attributes: Her 7,925-gallon fuel capacity is projected to give her a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles at 9 knots.
Inside, the Bering 106 will have a master stateroom on the upper deck, abaft the pilothouse. Four guest staterooms and a game room will be belowdecks, along with two cabins for crew.

What’s going to be at the bow? A hot tub and sun pads for relaxation in privacy, even when docked stern-to at a marina.
