Baglietto yacht Pure Insanity
Baglietto, an Italian shipyard specializing in yachts from 114 to 164 feet, has opened an office in Fort Lauderdale to expand the brand’s presence throughout North America.
The new office will be run by longtime yachtsman Edward R. Sacks, who has been named Baglietto vice president and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Previously, Sacks was president of Wellman Industries, a multinational producer of fiber, resin and plastic; and chairman of The Sherwood Financial Group, a Los Angeles-based investment advisory company.
Before taking on those roles, Sacks founded The Sacks Group, which offered management services to yacht owners.
