Palmer Johnson is known for its bold megayachts, but a new collaboration with Bugatti will introduce a three-model line of relatively smaller, but equally chic, vessels from 42 to 88 feet LOA.
Three sport yacht models built by Palmer Johnson will possess design elements from Bugatti’s most famous cars. Built mostly of carbon fiber, the Niniette series focuses on lightweight design and will have a sleek, metallic-looking gray titanium exterior.
The interior will feature a centerline helm station and two staterooms. Future owners can chose between brown maple and blue Morta oak in the cockpit.
The PJ63 Niniette will emulate Bugatti automobile designs like the 57 C Atalante and the Type 41 Royale and will feature Palmer Johnson’s SuperSport hulls, a monohull with twin sponsons. The PJ63 aims to have a top speed of 38 knots.
The smaller of the sport yachts, the PJ42, will have a price tag of €2 million (about $2.17 million) and the PJ63 is set to price at €3.25 million (about $3.35 million).
