Arcadia Yachts in Italy has increased its production space with an eye toward building more boats and increasing after-purchase services.
The builder acquired 21 percent of Marina de Torre Annunziata as well as additional space near the marina for construction and haul-outs.
Overall, the builder says, there’s now an extra 120,000 square feet of production space, in addition to Arcadia’s existing 387,500-square-foot facility.
“To increase production capacity, to develop larger products without altering the Arcadia DNA and to continue having a solid and direct relationship with our customers are the reasons behind this operation,” Ugo Pellegrino, director of Arcadia, stated in a press release.
