Garmin’s latest Panoptix transducer — the PS21 ($999) — is designed to be used on a trolling motor, allowing you to add forward-looking sonar capabilities without needing to install another through-hull transducer.
The PS21 gives boaters access to Garmin’s LiveVü Forward sonar imagery, which provides a live, video-like display of fish swimming in the water column.
The PS21 offers a range of 100 feet and is compatible with a variety of Garmin multifunction displays, including the echoMAP CHIRP (both the 7- and 9-inch models), the GPSMAP 7400/7600, the GPSMAP 8000/8500 and the GPSMAP 7×1, 8×0 and 10×0.
