Beyonce and Jay-Z: The hip-hop power couple regularly charter megayachts worldwide. One of their sightings was aboard the 180-foot Benetti Altitude, a 12-guest yacht that boasts a helipad, on-deck hot tub, gymnasium and at-anchor stabilizers. The lowest weekly base rate is $225,000.

Gwyneth Paltrow and yacht Silolona

Gwyneth Paltrow: This movie star isn’t afraid to go exotic, having chartered in Indonesia with her family aboard the 164-foot Phinisi-style sailing yacht Silolona. She’s also been spotted cruising in Italy as a guest aboard director Steven Spielberg’s 280-foot Oceanco Seven Seas.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: Brangelina don’t need the biggest superyacht in the world. They went for the Warren 87 Ghost I in Sydney Harbour, Australia, when they wanted to enjoy some charter fun in the sun with the family. (The kids were spotted living it up on the foredeck sunpad.)

Leonardo DiCaprio: The man who brought the sinking of the charter yacht Nadine to life in the film “The Wolf of Wall Street” went high-profile for the recent World Cup in Brazil, where he reportedly either chartered or borrowed use of one of the world’s largest yachts, the 482-foot Lürssen Topaz.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson: Tom Hanks may not have looked too happy on the water in his most recent film, Captain Phillips, but he and wife Rita Wilson picked a heck of a charter yacht for exploring the Turkish coastline when they booked the 246-foot sailing yacht Phocea.

Adrien Grenier, Kevin Connolly and ‘Entourage’: The boys of HBO stardom brought the whole cast (along with plenty of babes in bikinis) aboard the 154-foot Delta charter yacht Usher for scenes that will appear in the upcoming “Entourage” movie.
