VHF antennas have all seemed more or less the same for decades, but Shakespeare set out to make a number of improvements with the Phase III line. Upgrades include a custom foam system that protects the radiators from vibration and moisture, the use of all-stainless-steel hardware, silver-plated elements, and an SO-239 connector that allows you to install the antenna without rerouting the existing cable.
