148 Trinity Keyla
RMK Marine in Turkey has just re-launched the 148-foot Trinity Keyla following an extensive refit that took more than a year and a half.
Keyla originally launched in 2003 and previously went by the names Stanley Z and Chevy Toy. The refit added more than 6 feet to her swim platform and overall length.
Engine room work included installing new generators and replacing the hydraulics systems. In the crew space, the laundry area was resized to expand the quarters, bringing the total number of crew berths to nine. Galley equipment was upgraded as well.
Hot Lab, working with RMK, helped with interior renovations in the guest areas. The main deck’s salon and dining room were flip-flopped so that the dining space is now near the stern, creating an indoor-outdoor ambiance. The salon is closer to the bow as well as the 60-inch flat-screen television.
Throughout Keyla, there is now LED lighting. The interior décor has what RMK calls “a refined underwater theme” done in collaboration with Foglizzo. Laser-designed jellyfish are part of the decoration on the Nubuck leather surfaces. Styling includes various shades of white along with Tanganyika frisé and mirror-varnished Macassar woodwork. The owner specified six different styles of white marble along with mother-of-pearl and natural silver leaf accents in the guest bathrooms.
Keyla‘s audiovisual system was upgraded to a Crestron setup with iPad controls throughout the yacht for movies, music, curtains, blinds, and lighting levels.
On the upper deck, a special children’s area was added with an extended starboard-side toy box. A 65-inch television is now in this space, too. A new outdoor dining area was created on this deck as well. It includes a 14-seat round table as well as two coffee tables that can convert to smaller dining tables. The space can now seat at least 20 people for dinners.
On the sundeck, a day head was added along with a small technical space for crew. New teak sole was added, and the sunpad space was enlarged. All of the new outdoor furniture is contemporary with “ice white” varnish.
You can spot Keyla on the water thanks to her new Awlgrip Kingston Grey hull. Learn more at www.rmkmarine.com.tr.
