Meet the Bruce 22E. She’s a fully-electric build from the Canadian Electric Boat Company. And she can reportedly hit 41 knots.
“We are the only manufacturer in America making electric boats reaching this speed,” the builder stated in a press release.
Her electric propulsion system includes a Panasonic battery bank and a closed circuit, water-cooled, permanent magnet motor with digital controllers.
The Quebec-based company’s goal was to design a performance-oriented electric boat with design elements reminiscent of classic motorboats. And, of course, be eco-friendly.
Her design includes mahogany or carbon fiber woodwork, a dual console and an open cockpit.
Fun with friends: She can accommodate you and seven friends on board.
Features: She’s noiseless, has a 100 kW motor, LED lighting and a 48.66 kW battery.
