Luxury yacht charter is one of the most memorable vacations on Earth. It comes in countless styles, from West Mediterranean chic to Antarctic cool to Bahamas watersports fun, aboard vessels as varied as sailing catamarans and superyachts. Need some ideas for this summer? We have them all right here.
Super Spaces
Lady Britt
While many owners build their dream yachts and later offer them for charter, Lady Britt was designed with charter in mind. She has indoor and outdoor cinemas, a Finnish sauna, a spa, a top-deck gymnasium and DJ equipment.
Sarah
Sarah has an unusual layout, taking 12 charter guests in their choice of nine staterooms. The owner also offers her for charter at events such as the Monaco Grand Prix, where she can welcome at least 50 people at the quay for parties.
11.11
In addition to the sun-deck space aboard 11.11, the yacht has a private owner’s deck forward of the master suite. Umbrellas can be raised or lowered, depending on the weather.
Carpe Diem
Stylish bathing suits are welcome aboard Carpe Diem, whose interior includes vintage fashion photographs. For guests who prefer a different take on the concept of vintage, the yacht also has a 220-bottle wine cellar.
Illusion V
When charter guests have had their fill of relaxing on Illusion V‘s sun deck, they can play with her unusual selection of water toys down below. The Jetovator, for instance, tethers to a personal watercraft and lets guests “fly” 40 feet up in the sky.
Bahamas Beauties
Amarula Sun
Amarula Sun has an interior décor that includes some fun surprises. Charter guests will find a baby grand piano, hand-painted murals, a sky-lounge fireplace and no fewer than 15 Apple TVs in various spaces around the yacht.
Lady Joy
An elevator that services all decks makes it easy for charter clients to move around Lady Joy. At-anchor stabilizers also enhance the onboard experience, which includes a home theater and piano with mini studio.
Cristobal
Cristobal (which previously chartered as Alexandra V) accommodates eight guests in four staterooms. One can be set up as a queen berth or as twin berths, depending on the needs of charter clients.
Vivere
The garage door aboard Vivere opens to the swim platform, making it easy for charter guests to board the 17-foot Castoldi jet tender. Not that guests will need that tender to do some fast cruising; Vivere herself can hit 25 knots.
Perfect Sense
Perfect Sense takes six guests in three staterooms. The master has a king-size berth, the VIP has a queen, and the guest stateroom has twin berths where the kids can have a space all their own to relax after a day of fun in the sun.
